Seeing a need and creating a solution is our expertise! During COVID we could sense unease within senior communities as we would visit in person or virtually. We wanted to find a way to keep senior citizens smiling - feeling warm, cozy, and loved. We came up with a ‘knot’ using our fingers to create hand-knitted lap blankets. Since March 2020, we have donated 15+ blankets to seniors across Michigan. The handknitted lap blanket donation will continue as a tradition quarterly.
